Coffee Break Wisdom: Success is Just Sitting beside You

Gold mining in the United States  attracted thousands of people to the California from the rest of the United States and abroad. Some people sold their own property, left their hometowns, and went to the United States for the gold rush.

A person from United Kingdom sold his own land in his hometown and went to the most popular gold rush place in the United States, hoping to find gold and return to his hometown.

He bought a house and then began his exploration of gold. Every day, he kept working from early morning until late evening, trying very hard to find gold everywhere. At the beginning, he was still full of hope, and believed that he would soon be able to find gold. However, day after day, year after year, until he became a senior,  he still had no progress in finding gold.

Finally, He died without chances to realize his dream. His descendants came to his house and found his gold mining records. His descendants found that the lands around his house have almost been excavated except for the land of his own house.

His descendants suddenly got a bright idea; why not try to dig the ground of the house to see whether there is any new discovery? Finally, they have found the the largest gold mine in the United States just under the land of the house. The person’s unfulfilled dream was finally realized by his descendants.

Little Philosophy: People always pay attend to the trifles but neglect the essentials, trying everywhere to find their own success. But sometimes the most valuable opportunity is just sitting beside you.
